The project at Village Green Shopping Center involved a 2-inch mill and pave of 45,345 square yards of asphalt parking lot, along with restriping that spanned 78,167 lineal feet. The project required 5,145 tons of asphalt and was executed in 13 distinct phases, which included milling, paving, and restriping each section before progressing to the next. A unique aspect of this project was the need to balance the milling and paving work while ensuring accessibility for shoppers and not disrupting delivery schedules for the rear of the stores. This careful planning and execution allowed the shopping center to remain operational throughout the construction process.
