The Mary Alice Park project involved a 4-inch mill and pave with restriping, utilizing 4,380 tons of asphalt to cover 19,330 square yards and applying 63,556 linear feet of paint. The work was completed in three phases, with milling, paving, and restriping completed in each section before moving to the next. The project was particularly unique due to its timing during the park’s busy summer season. As a popular boat launch location for Lake Lanier, the park needed to remain fully operational throughout the project. Careful coordination ensured minimal disruption, maintaining ample parking spaces for visitors while completing the work efficiently.
