The project at McRae Correctional Facility involved crack sealing, sealcoating, and restriping. The scope of work included applying 1,900 pounds of crack seal, 2,460 gallons of sealcoat covering 123,000 square feet, and restriping 8,740 linear feet of paint. The project was completed in two phases, ensuring that each phase was finished before moving on to the next.

Located three hours south of our facility, the project required careful planning to accommodate travel expenses, including hotel stays and per diem, while remaining within the owner’s budget. Additionally, the facility was undergoing remodeling, necessitating the division of the parking lot into two phases to provide space for equipment staging and worker parking. Despite these challenges, the project was successfully executed on time and within budget.
